ALD library card

With a library card, you can:

-Reserve, check out, and renew books, DVDs, music, and audiobooks
-Download Overdrive Downloadable Audiobooks
-Reserve a public computer for use
-Manage your library account online
-Access our research databases from your home or office computer

To get a library card you must:
  • Be a Colorado resident and show photo identification and proof of address.
  • Have parental approval if under 18. (Parents or guardians are responsible for library materials and any fines or charges incurred by minor children under the age of 18)
  • Complete the application form.

We will validate library cards from other Colorado libraries.

Apply for a Library Card Online

This form allows you to register online as a patron of our library district. After submitting this form, you will have a temporary library card number. You can use this number to access online databases and place up to ten holds on Arapahoe Library District materials. To get your permanent card and full library privileges, please come to one of our libraries to pick up your card and fully activate your account. You will be required to present a photo I.D. and proof of your current address.

We want your borrowing experience to be a great one! To make it easy, we have the information you need about borrowing items from the library, including how long you can keep items, how to return them, and more.

Need to contact us by phone? 303-LIBRARY (303-542-7279) is the only number you will need to connect to any of our libraries.

Kelver (303-822-9392) and Davies (303-769-4310) patrons may still call the direct telephone numbers to avoid incurring long distance charges.

Lost or Stolen Library Cards

If you have lost your card, the charge is $1 for a replacement card.

Please contact your library immediately to report lost/stolen cards. We can block your account to prevent unauthorized use.

Pay Your Fines Online

You can use your Visa or MasterCard (debit or credit card) to pay library fines and fees totaling $2.00 or more online. Login to My Library Account to see and pay your fine.

Request/Reserve Items

To request (reserve) a library item you must have an Arapahoe Library District library card.

Find the item you want by searching our Online Catalog.

Temporary Card Access
