Outreach Services provides a variety of specialized library services to our residents who lack easy access to libraries or have a special need. Our Library on Wheels bus makes stops to apartment complexes throughout Arapahoe Library District providing library materials and programs, including storytimes. Our Library on Wheels van brings materials and programs to Senior Assisted Living facilities. The homebound library service brings materials to residents who are temporarily or permanently confined to their homes because of illness, age or disability. Elderhour is a monthly program hosted at Koelbel Library for older adults and seniors. Many groups, including senior citizen groups, take advantage of the Bi-Folkal kits which provide a variety of materials on topics of interest for those struggling with memory impairment. Outreach Services also is responsible for our Language Services, including services in Russian and Spanish and services to New Americans.
Home Delivery
Free delivery of library materials is provided for residents of Arapahoe Library District who are temporarily or permanently confined to their homes because of illness, age or disability. This service is available for all ages, including children, teens, adults and seniors.
- Outreach Services houses the Library District's collection of BiFolkal Kits for senior citizens. Produced by BiFolkal Productions, these kits are remembrance programs designed for use with senior citizen groups.
- Outreach Services will provide small collections of books and other library materials (a deposit collection) to senior facilities.

Mobile Library Services
Outreach Services Department provides free public library service to Arapahoe Library District patrons who are unable to visit a traditional library. A 33.8 ft bus bookmobile, and a 22 ft van, transport library materials and services to where they live. View a map of Library on Wheels Stops. Click on any location to find scheduled stops.
