Transparent Language Online with byki, short for "Before You Know It," is a rapid language learning system. The Byki learning method takes users through a series of steps to memorize words and phrases in a new language, including their meanings and proper pronunciation, in the shortest time possible. Learn over 70 different languages!

English Conversation Circles are held at our libraries for you to come and practice your English skills and learn about the American culture.

English as a Second Language classes are offered for those who want to improve their English language speaking, reading, and listening abilities. Hosted in conjunction with Learning Source. Call 303-792-8953 to register.

Language Instruction in Downloadable Audio lets you learn a foreign language from your computer or portable media player. Many audiobook titles are available.

Learning Express Library offers practice tests to get help in building skills in math, reading, grammar and vocabulary. Other practice tests include GED, SAT, ACT, teacher certification, law enforcement, & U.S. Citizenship exams. Find invaluable career resources for job search skills, resume-building, and career certification. Requires a free registration so that you can review and track your progress and scores on exams. New users - please note that the username is your library card number, entered with no dashes or spaces.

New Americans Support Services provides free guidance and counseling by Inna Oganesyan from Jewish Family Services to "new Americans" who have lived in the United States for less than three years.

New Americans Collection is a special collection of materials that support learning English as a second language, materials that support citizenship and materials that support immigrant integration for new arrivals to the United States. Use our site to search for available resources which can be found at Sheridan, Smoky Hill, Eloise May, Castlewood and Kelver libraries.

TumbleBook Library is a great site for kids K-4. Look for interactive, animated stories, puzzles and games in English, Spanish, French and Chinese. Some bilingual stories are also available. You can have stories play automatically or click through at your own pace. Most users will not need to log in but if you see a login in screen, enter the username arapahoe and the password libra.
